When it comes to food, “average” is not in our dictionary. We give you a variety of options, but we’re flexible in not allowing our options to limit you on your wedding day. We can, in fact, create a menu according to your tastes and desires.The dining experience is exceptional and the Venue offers multiple courses. Your dining experience starts off with a delicious selection of hors d’œuvres. The hors d’oeuvre area is a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. It includes a complete setup of beautiful tables with different dimensions dripping with food and décor. Outside sitting areas complete with garden chairs, benches and cocktail tables. Options such as our authentic Karoo hors d’oeuvre selection consist of ‘Skilpadjies’, Sheep tail and Pâtés, served with a selection of breads, cheeses and homemade preserves.
For the second course a starter may follow with options such as, Sweet chilly bacon and chicken livers in a pancake or Parma ham and cream cheese, served on a glazed peach half.
After which the Main Course will be served with a choice between a Silver Dome Plated Service for a formal dinner or a delicious Buffet with a range of food to select from. Options such as a truly South African Style Lamb on the Spit, Fillet or even Oxtail is served with your choice of a rich succulent sauce.
There’s nothing better than classic dessert. Our homemade desserts will transport you back in time to your grandmother’s kitchen. We have a wide variety of delicious options such as Malva pudding, Pavlova, Crème brûlée and Milktart. The Chef might even surprise you with some delicious petits fours (sweet treats) served at the coffee and tea table.
We highly recommend our plated service, simply because then we can guarantee that each plate is a masterpiece. Since people eat with their eyes as well as their mouths, our plated dishes will surely leave a lasting impression of your wedding day with you and your guests.
